Private Heli Skiing

Heli Ski bookings for the 2023-24 season will open in August. If you have preferred dates already, please contact us directly and we can put you down on the waiting list. Please note priority will be given to private charter bookings when reservations become available.

Whatever the reason we are happy to offer private heli skiing at Shiribetsu-Dake which ensures our smallest client to guide ratios and runs set at your pace.

Price: 1,645,000yen

• 2 hours of hobbs time
• Mandatory avalanche safety equipment (includes free ABS avalanche airbag)

• Roundtrip van transportation: Niseko/ Rusutsu to Shiribetsu Dake
• Up to 10 people (please contact us directly for group of 11 or more)

7:00 – Pickup time from Niseko (7:50 for Rusutsu)

8:00 – Arrive to heli pad

8:00 – Avalanche and heli briefing

9:00 – Start shredding (lunch will be taken between this time, there is no set time since we are going to fly if there is a short window)

15:00 – 16:30 – Last run

16:00 – 17:30  – Transfer to Niseko

The heli skiing zone on Shiribetsu-Dake reaches up to 1,107 meters. The terrain is a mix of trees, steep chutes, and open glades. Slopes range from 20-40 degrees (a typical resort black run is 32º). Average runs are 650 meters long meaning you can expect to get a lot of vert in just a short amount of time. As with any heli ski terrain, the number of runs/day depends on the weather, avalanche conditions, and the group’s ability level.

Purchased brand new from Airbus in 2020, the EC130 is a single engine helicopter including all the latest technologies and a roomy cabin that can accommodate 1 pilot, 1 guide, and 5 passengers.  This is one of the quietest helicopters in the market and you can comfortably talk to your friends during the flight. Skis, snowboard, and backpacks will be stored in the basket outside of the helicopter during flights.

＊If you only use partial hours due to weather, 5750yen per minute will be refunded. On the other hand, if you would like to buy extra minutes, this will cost an additional 5750yen per minute.

＊＊If we cannot fly at all on your private charter heli day due to weather, guided skiing at Rusutsu will be offered and 80% (for groups of 1 -5) and 75% (for groups of 6 – 10) of your payment will be refunded.
